A building should spark curiosity, draw us in and make us want to know more. Good design often reveals itself slowly. We discover its story. The details, textures, materials come into resolution as we move through the building.

My work has primarily been interior architecture, exploring ways of creating deeply felt experiences that flow between the inside and the outside.

As a designer, my interest is the life that takes place in and around the built environment. I’m interested in how places make us feel. Every well designed place holds a story and provides a container for new stories to unfold.

I see the purpose of design to be the creation of a desired experience. Good design has the power to influence human action and foster creative interaction.

Great design makes us feel whole, connected, and inspired.
